Posted onGot lost for a while! To sum it up in one word; it was PERFECT!
Accommodation, people, organization, care, food etc. - everything was excellent. If you are looking for a paradise - you’ll find it there! Thanks for this time, I'll be back for sure!!!!!
Posted onParadise on earth!!!!!Rapture Nica was truly a dream come true. Paradise means everything is amazing all the time and that’s pretty much what it was like here.
I’m the type of traveller who typically doesn’t stay in one place for long, as I’m always wanting to see the next new sight. But Rapture was so amazing - this was the first time I stayed more than a week at one place (kept extending again and again) and even returned back! I met sooooo many people who either extended their trips or returned cos they couldn’t get enough.
Surf : The team checks and decides where the best spots are for the next day based on conditions. They also take into account the experience level of the surfers which is very helpful! It was great to experience the different beaches which were all beautiful, and they even have some secret spots! I enjoyed all my surf lessons and felt very safe and well taken care of. If you’re not taking a lesson that day, they have surf guides who help take care of the group. Learnt a lot of great tips on surfing from Hairol and Richard!
Food: Jorge the Chef is amazing!!! I didn’t have one bad meal in the camp, every single meal was delicious!! For breakfast you get to order from a wide range of choices including eggs, porridge, banana pancakes (the best!!) etc. For dinner you can even get seconds or thirds! I was so happy and well fed all the time.
Accom: I stayed in the private room and also the tent. I enjoyed both very much! Super clean and they even tidy the rooms everyday without fail. It was very comfortable and the showers were great with hot water and good water pressure.
Coordination and communication: Johannes and all took great care of everyone. I got picked up safely from the airport and it’s easy to arrange transportation through the camp to get dropped off at the ferry area (for ometepe) or to Managua etc. They go out of their way to keep all their guests happy and comfortable, making everything as smooth sailing as possible.
Vibes: Chill vibes all round over here, I was alone but it was pretty easy to make friends. Met lots of fun and cool people, and I think the environment and set up helps a lot with that.
All in all, would highly recommend without a single doubt! It was truly paradise on earth :)
