Blue House Yoga is bringing a daily series that will optimize your practice by blending the body awareness of yoga with muscle-toning movement. You’ll light up every muscle with four targeted classes for your arms, legs, booty, and core. In this virtual retreat, you will connect with like-minded people, sculpt and tone your muscles, build deep strength and stability, create full-body awareness, develop a mindful experience, and create new habits!
Radiate energy with fun sequences designed to strengthen and open your body through flows. Power yoga is a full-body experience that will not only develop endurance but also provide mental and spiritual benefits. This plan is a great choice for all levels of yogis looking to build physical and mental strength. Daniela's focus on Ujjayi and breathwork are linked with movements to unify the mind and body present on the mat.
The classes range in difficulty from low to high intensity and Blue House Yoga encourages you to explore your limits and challenge your practice through dynamic and continuous flows that build strength and increase your happiness.
- Why breathwork?
Your body remembers what your mind has forgotten. Some patterns of grief can be stuck on your lungs, to release it, a few sessions of integrative Breathwork can be more efficient than years of talking therapy. It’s challenging to defeat invisible mental blocks, your mind suppresses some memories but your body is willing to collaborate throughout your healing.
After observing psychological patterns following breathwork and yoga sessions, Daniela undertook a Level 5 course in CBT and Counselling, passing with distinction. During the summer of 2019, Daniela guided over 200 sessions of yoga and integrative Breathwork, witnessing the most profound release of emotions and tension as the recovery of memories that lay on the subconscious mind driving impulses.
Daniela continues to work in London and worldwide, guiding yoga, meditation, and Breathwork sessions. Daniela will look forward to helping you to make the most of all your available resources. As harder was your past, more potential you have at the present moment, if you only learn how to be the alchemist of your life, transforming brute material into gold.
Despite often hearing positive enforcements such as "your past does not define your present", this is only a half-truth. Brains have impulses to gravitate towards what has become "familiar" through repetition, often unconsciously attempting to recreate, within adult experiences, the feelings you so intimately knew in childhood. If exposed to destructive dynamics through your early experiences, you are at risk of recreating these states in what some could call "sabotage".
Albeit traumas can be very straightforward to define (poverty, loss, abuse, violence, culture, bully, etc.), some of your past experiences might be subtle, such as witnessing parents who stayed in a relationship for other reasons than love or compatibility, for example. If it occurred before the development of full speech, the feelings associated with it become primal and abstract.
Daniela's method is to identify these urges before they turn into actions, or if these drives are already turned into actions, you will detangle in therapy the past from the present exploring the unconscious. Daniela's technics are Breathwork, dream interpretation, free association, and bodywork.
- What is Integrative Breathwork?
Integrative Breathwork is one of the most powerful tools to safely access unconscious material, thus release mental blocks. This practice supports the immune system and all cells in the body increasing self-esteem, changing patterns of self-limitation, and reducing anxiety and tension. It promotes emotional and physical health and a profound understanding of oneself, others, and life. The underlying psychology/philosophies combined in this therapy are CBT, Mindfulness, and Pranayama.
Thousands of years ago, the yogis discovered the power of the breath. Today, it's known that conscious breathing creates optimal conditions for your health. Following a simple pattern of breathing, an altered state of consciousness is achieved, enabling psychological insights, spirituality, expansion of consciousness, and the integration of memories and emotions that goes beyond talk therapy and rationalization.
According to the yogis, your cellular memory creates suffering in your lives but most recently, the gap between science and ancient cultures are closing; Harvard University conducted researches founding that trauma causes biochemical markings known as methylation. Impaired methylation can lead to depression, anxiety, fatigue, and vast issues concerning health.
Integrative Breathwork is a way to purify cellular memories promoting profound effects on your state of being. Each person's process is unique. The therapy allows the wisdom of the body to bring up what is unhealed in you to your attention. It takes you deep within addressing unconscious fears that may distort your perceptions.
By creating a non-ordinary state of consciousness, Integrative Breathwork accesses all the different aspects of the self and practiced within a safe therapeutic setting and proper guidance, it takes the breather into the dimension of consciousness he needs to visit to heal.
