The 200-hour YTTC certified course (Yoga Teacher Training Course) is aimed at people who want to walk the path of self-knowledge and inner transformation through the teachings and practice of yoga, but also those who want to extend wisdom from this discipline to other souls as yoga instructors. It is for this reason that it becomes imperative for the latter to undertake a complete training program in order to achieve the desired objective.

At the time of successful completion of the exam, students receive the International Certificate of the Gyan Ganga Yogpeeth, accredited by the Yoga Alliance of the USA. This certificate permits you to work as a yoga instructor anywhere in the world. The course curriculum covers the basics of traditional hatha yoga and the practices of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, an introduction to meditation, pranayama, and yoga philosophy.

During this course, students are trained in accordance with the schedule and curriculum approved by the international standards of the Yoga Alliance. The yogic life in the school during the course implies the observance of ethical principles, lifestyle, and rules of conduct in the Ashram.

This course is a step towards professional excellence, and also allows students to create a solid foundation for realizing their own unique abilities as a teacher. A yoga teacher training course (200 hours) implies learning:

  • The practice and methods of teaching all the basic asanas of Hatha Yoga.
  • Master the teaching skills of a yoga teacher.

  • Get the level of knowledge of anatomy and physiology that an instructor needs
  • Master the traditional techniques of pranayama, bandha, meditation,and mudra and relaxation practices.

Yoga instructor training takes place according to a specially developed YTTC-200 program (Yoga Teacher Training Course, 200 hours), approved by the Yoga International Alliance (Yoga Alliance International Worldwide, India), by the National Assembly of India for Yoga and Yoga Alliance USA (Yoga Alliance USA). Studying at the Yoga, Meditation and Tantra Research Center for a yoga teacher not only meets all Indian, Russian and international standards but also provides an opportunity for graduates to receive diplomas without additional exams and get into the registries of the largest international yoga organizations. The yoga teacher training course (200 hours) of training includes daily asana classes, theory, and training in teaching skills. Classes are held in mini-groups which makes it possible to individually direct everyone, to give advice on adjustments and corrections, individual peculiarities of practices, nutrition, and health tips. Our approach of teaching is based on the fact that practitioners should bring joy, not torment for the body. Therefore, we use a soft approach, without violence.

You will be given all the essential equipment for the start of practice (mats, blankets, straps, hammocks, etc.), which you will learn to use to understand the work in asanas and their tune-up, as well as handouts.

There are 2 yoga studios and dining area. Shops, Cafes, Restaurant, ATM, healthcare, organic stores lies in close proximity to the school. Gyan Ganga Yog Peeth offer single and double room based on the student’s requirements. Every room has attached bathroom with western toilet and hot shower. The rooms for the yogis are well maintained and clean. They offer bed sheets, pillows, bath towels, toilet paper, blanket and welcome amenities upon arrival.

  • Good Wi-Fi facility is provided in every floor.

            Rishikesh is situated along both banks of the holy Ganga at the altitude of 340 meters above the sea level. The town is located in the foothills of Himalayas and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. You can read the weather report below, month by month and understand your requirements for what you need to bring for the course.

            Temperature: Day 22- 25 C. Night 12 – 15 C.

            It is the best month of the beginning of the year for yoga practitioner when sprint starts and feel the new energy from around. the mountain is green, The Ganga is so clean and nice, the beaches for sunbath, everything is very perfect. Days are sunny but sometimes with the wind. Morning-evening and nights are windy; therefore you should pack a warm sweater, jacket, socks and a sleeping bag for the night. 
            ♦ March 
            Temperature: Day 23 – 27 C. Night 15 – 22C.

            It is another very good month for Rishikesh for yoga practitioner in which month practitioner can celebrate holy ( the colour festival) comes in the month of March every year. Sunny during the daytime. Morning and evening weather is beautiful with nice and fresh air but night time could be a little bit windy, therefore you may need a blanket. 
            ♦ April 
            Temperature: Day 28 – 30 C. Night 20 – 25 C.

            It is the best month for that practitioner who is wishing intensive improve their flexibility and lose weight. also, this time the weather is very suitable for those who wish to take a bath or swim in Ganga river or enjoy mountaineering. Sunny during daytime or a little bit dry and hot between 11 am to 3 pm but rest of the time climate is comfortable. It is not necessary to bring warm clothes, simple clothes will be enough. 
            ♦ May 
            Temperature: Day 30 – 35 C. Night 25 – 28 C.

            This is another best month of the year after the rain and humidity. around the ashram mountains are so green, The Holy Ganga river is so clean and pure. all around so nice great smell and Very good weather – sunny at daytime with a clean sky and green mountains and warm and comfortable at nights.

            Temperature: Day 30 – 32 C night, 18 – 23 C.

            This the best month for many festivals around the Rishikesh and in India. Very good weather – sunny at daytime with a clear sky, but morning and evening are accompanied by some wind, for this you may want to bring a warm jacket. 
            ♦ November 
            Temperature: Day 23 – 25 C. Night 15 – 20 C.

            Sunny days, windy in the morning, evening and night which makes it chilly outside but fresh air, so, you need a warm sweater to walk outside, socks and a sleeping bag to sleep. Yoga practice is comfortable as we close the window and doors in yoga-hall and our building has thick warm walls. 
            ♦ December 
            Temperature: Day 20- 23 C. Night 10 – 15 C.

            Sunny days, Fog only some time mostly not, it depends on the wind. Yoga practice is comfortable as we close the window and doors in yoga-hall and our building has thick warm walls.             How to get there Review Like

            Transfer Delhi – Rishikesh – Delhi is carried by taxi service (Tata Indica, Tata Indigo or Toyota Innova). Distance: 250 km. Time till destination: 6-8 hours with one stop for 30 minutes’ rest with the possibility of breakfast, depending on timing. For this, we recommend that you change some money at the airport.

            Dehradun jolly grant is the nearest airport which is approx.. 15 km away from our institute.
